Dear Friends of Our Lady of Fatima
Jesus told us that some things cannot be driven out except by prayer and fasting. We want you to know about a huge endeavor to do just that in the week leading up to the 100th Anniversary Celebration of Fatima on Oct. 13.
A global coalition of organizations and individuals is joining together for a week of prayer and fasting from Oct. 1-9, 2017. The theme of this year's movement is
THE TRIUMPH OF THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY.
Please join in the 25th International Week of Prayer and Fasting for these intentions:
1 - For the conversion of peoples and nations
2 - To defend the sanctity of marriage and family life
3 - To build a culture of life
4 - For peace and to implore God's mercy
The international prayer movement is asking for people to sign up and participate (www.iwopf.org)
as individuals, families and parishes by organizing and offering the following:
* Daily Masses * Holy Rosary * Holy Hours * Fasting * Divine Mercy Chaplet
An International Day of Prayer will be held Monday, Oct. 9th, 2017, from 9 a.m.-4:30 pm.at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C.
